Terrorism… the subject that dominates the news broadcasts the last years. The Twin Towers, Madrid, London, Iraq… images engraved in our collective memory. The young men raising these massacres are brainwashed to the point they consider themselves martyrs. Seen from our western point of view they’re nothing more then killers and murderers, sowing death and destruction, harvesting hate and grief. The seeds for a new world war are here; reason enough to stop and think about this.

Martyr vs. Terrorist
------------------------
Athra couldn’t dry her eyes
Her father
Caught by the madness
That wasn’t meant for him
The carnage is raised, a car set ablaze
Like every other day, the suburbs in flames
Terrorist - You say you give your life
That you’re a martyr, for your conviction you die
Martyr - I say you’re not even close
That you’re a killer, taking innocent lives
Three days later
Still more than 60 degrees
At least 25 bodies
In between King’s Cross & Russel Square
Whether a marketplace massacre or two caved-in towers
Mothers dress in black and cover graves with flowers
The carnage raised, the underground set ablaze
On a madmen’s day, the subway in flames
Terrorist - You say you give your life
That you’re a martyr, for your conviction you die
Martyr - I say you’re not even close
That you’re a killer, taking innocent lives
Sowing death and destruction… Harvesting hate and grief…
